But, how did we get here? It's something all of our couples ask us at one point. What crazy force overcame us to build a career together? Simply, it was a (spontaneous) easy joint decision.

Tyke created Wild & Lawless all the way back in 2022 to branch out into Photography, as he's been a Wedding Videographer since 2019 under his original business, Films by Tyke. Tyke has become a well known name in the industry. Having connections, friendships, and working with a crazy amount of Photographers and Videographers.

Tyke wanted something new to work on during the quiet off season period from films. When we met, Tyke was slowly making the transition of pursuing Wild & Lawless as a 1 man show. One night, Kim had a very spontaneous — yet brilliant — idea to combine Videography into Wild & Lawless, and at that very moment, our Photo & Video service was born. 

Since then, our love has only grown stronger and our connection expand deeper. We understand how each other think! (both creatively and outside of work hours). We collaborate together with efficient communication — that's what has made us such a strong couple. 

There's been a bucket load of times where we would be shooting speeches or vows, and our couple would say something that we can immediately relate to. We laugh and give each other a funny glance! We have a perfect balance.

 We ourselves can't wait to have the experience we provide for our couples. We relate, we understand, and most importantly — we care.

We prioritise the fact that everyone has a unique story to share. Regardless of how little or quirky you think it is. 

We honestly thrive off being apart of the fun, mingling with your loved ones during your reception, having a laugh with your bridal party and getting onto the d-floor to capture your best-man’s drunken dancing with grandma!

We do our absolute best to capture all the big and tiny moments of your wedding day, even the tiniest nitty gritty details that sometimes might fly above your head during your day. 

We get really to know our couples, and they get to know US. That's what makes it so special.

We don't contract out our work to anyone else. We film, photograph and edit completely ourselves. That way, you're getting 100% of us, we get to be apart of all the goodness and continue to rave about your wedding long after its been and gone!
